Meet the Team
Stacey - Principle / Friday School Manager/ J.Y.T Drama and Musical Theatre Teacher
Stacey's passion for facilitating and training young people in the performing arts came from a love for 'the stage'. Stacey grew up attending many fabulous youth drama groups where she realised her love for the arts. As a youngster she was lucky enough to perform in many productions including 'West Side Story', 'Jekyll and Hyde' and Bill Kenwright's production of 'Evita'.

After gaining a BA(hons) in Acting from the Trinity School of Performing Arts, Stacey began working professionally as an actress and singer in productions such as 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'Peter Pan'. It was during the time when she was writing her own playscript of 'The Tortoise and the Hare', a musical adaptation of the famous fable, that she developed a passion for working with children. The play was aimed at a younger audience and she performed as the tortoise as it toured the U.K. This marks the beginning of Stacey's teaching career. After obtaining her QTS at the University of Wolverhampton, Stacey worked as a Teacher of English in a secondary school for many years and continued teaching private singing lessons.
Stacey is extremely excited to be leading J.A.M Youth Theatre as it begins its journey, and hopes that it can bring a passion for the arts to each and every student that walks through its doors.
